Dear Year 4 Parents and Carers,
Spring 1 has flown by! We are incredibly proud of the children as they have remained engaged throughout the term even though it has been super busy! After our trip to Hampton Court the children were inspired to put themselves in Henry VIII’s shoes and write their own emotive letters of complaint to Catherine Parr.

Maths: We will start by recapping fractions before adding and subtracting these! English: We will be moving onto our new unit which focuses on discussing the environment. Foundation: PSHE – To understand how we fit in our friendship groups and valuing our friendships Geography - To explain the impact of food choices on the environment. DT – To build a car chassis. |
Homework:
Please complete the Maths homework sheet that will be given out on a Monday. We also encourage the children to log into Times Table Rockstars and play some of the games to practise their times tables! Spellings are to be practised each week.
Maths: Homework is set on Monday and due Friday. Aim to spend 30 minutes on this.
