Weekly Update - Friday 12th December 2025
Summary of this week:
It has been a lovely busy week and the children have produced some wonderful Christmas diary writing.
Our learning next week:
Maths: We will be solving some wonderful festive maths questions.
English: We will be proudly publishing our diary entries about a Christmas event!
Reading: We will be continuing to discuss the key themes in our picture book text called “The Christmas Eve Tree”.
Foundation:
In D&T, we will be applying 'cladding' and decorating our amazing 3D pavilion structures.
All the children are really looking forward to the Christmas Fair and delicious Christmas dinner!
Homework:
Maths
The Maths homework sheet will be stuck into books and given out on Tuesdays – please could children complete this and hand it in by Friday so teachers can mark, provide feedback and hand back by the following week.
Spelling
Please continue to practise the weekly spelling words at home in whichever way your child finds most useful.

Children have been invited to bring in £7 for Elfridges and can wear mufti for the day.
Thursday 18th December- Christmas Lunch (Christmas Jumpers and Headwear)
Friday 19th December- Christmas Activities/Staff Panto (Christmas Jumpers)
