Year 2

Weekly Update - Friday 7th March 2025

A Summary of our learning:

This week, we have been writing our own Lost and Found story based on The Flower. In the children’s stories, there was a new problem- their city had no flowers, no herbs, no trees etc. They then wrote a story on how the main character rediscovered the missing plant.

In maths, the children were learning more about 2D shape. They learnt about lines of symmetry and how to sort 2D shapes based on their properties.
