Weekly Update - Friday 3rd May 2024

In computing, the children have particularly enjoyed designing their storyboards for the stop-motion project. We are impressed at how well they work collaboratively and the imagination used! It was a pleasure to celebrate winners for the Rotary Young Writers competition we took part in a couple of months ago – the judges were very impressed with all of Eastwick’s entries and said it was a difficult judging process! |
Our learning next week:

Maths: In maths we will be completing our topic of geometry and looking at angles in quadrilaterals and diagonal lines.
English: We will begin looking at our new text – The Secrets of Stonehenge and researching information texts.
Foundation: In Design Technology we will be designing labels for our forthcoming Greek recipe, in computing we will begin creating our stop-motion projects, in RE we will research ‘God’s solution’, in History we will compare Athens vs Sparta.

Eastwick Schools May Fair Saturday 18th May 2024 - Donation Fri-Yays!

This week we are asking for your donations of new and pre-loved games (please ensure they are complete if you are donating pre-loved).
There will be morning collections available in either infants or juniors at drop off from 8.30am on Friday 3rd May and also on Friday 10th May.
